How the Design Process Starts
Before we begin the design process, we always take the time to get to know you and your partner. Relationship building with you is crucial in ensuring your special day emulates everything about you as a couple.
After we become well acquainted, we’ll begin to discuss the foundations of your design like style and event essentials. During this phase, we also take great care to understand each detail that is uniquely important to you. Understanding your vision allows us to design a wedding that is anything but generic.

Finding The Right Wedding Venue
Once we have an understanding of your vision, we’ll begin the design process by approaching potential venues with the intention that it accommodates your specific vision, preferences, and style. We always attend venue tours to keep pace with your venue feedback and decision. During the venue walkthrough, we’ll chat about the logistics and how we can take a blank canvas and turn it into the wedding you’ve always envisioned. From welcoming guests to décor placement – we will highlight every way the venue can bring your unique inspiration to life.
Designing your Wedding
The wedding design process is a collaborative experience with our couples. Our goal is that you enjoy every moment of planning your wedding. Working with a wedding planner should not mean you feel uninvolved in the planning process. We’ll involve you through every milestone in the design process. Even more, we partner with you to help navigate finding the perfect vendors for your wedding.
We curate your unique wedding inspiration and introduce your design to you through detailed visual boards. Vision boards aid with polishing the details while allowing your wedding to perfectly represent your relationship, style, and personality. Our vision boards include page-by-page information that showcases your wedding visually from the beginning of the event to the end. Some of these details include welcome bags to bridal party attire and even the farewell send-off celebration.
Partnering with you Every Step of the Way
After we have finalized vision boards and concepts, it’s time to start implementing your hard work by selecting key vendors and specific design pieces. Whether it’s designating the perfect florist or hand-picking gorgeous linens, we are here to help. We attend onsite meetings, manage invoice schedules, monitor and track budgets, coordinate vendor contracts, and other logistical details.
We’ll then begin creating a comprehensive timeline that features every detail of your wedding. This timeline includes when clients can expect vendor contracts and when pieces start coming together. This helps us stay in communication with updates and information from vendors to clients.
As processes begin falling into place throughout the timeline, we then complete this portion of the design process with a complete showing of a sample set up with the materials that will be featured on your wedding day.
